Kathy is an Atlanta-based college administrator & instructor. With roots in California & a formative childhood in Hawaii, her journey has taken her across continents. She is formally trained in large-format photography & strategic management & has led projects in the entertainment industry, including HBO’s Emmy-winning Watchmen (2019). She is self-taught in graphic, web, & video design.
Kathy earned a BA in Art History & Visual Arts from Emory University, where she worked with deans in the Office for Undergraduate Education & the Office of Alumni & Development Records. During her senior year, Kathy spent a semester with UGA studying fine arts in Italy.
Kathy sits on the Atlanta Design Festival's Advisory Board & serves as their Development Liaison. She enjoys long, meditative urban exploration walks, documenting architectural designs & characteristic abodes.
